twOOwls art – Free to Be Fiber-eye :>
As you slide on the brightly-colored bracelet, you feel the cool, smooth presence of the fiber-eye caress your arm.
Once again you admire the way the light plays on the beads, sliding from light to dark and back again as the light shifts along its length.
It’s cheering to feel its presence as you go about your day. And when that day calls for a temporary reduction in bling, you confidently shove it into a pocket, knowing that a few deft touches will have it put to rights again, should it get a bit squished in the meantime.
You own several, and they are a part of your wardrobe you wouldn’t dream of being without. Every time you wear one, you are pleased all over again that Birdy was so willing to customize them to your ideas.
You’ve also ordered a circlet in a pattern to match your favorite bracelet, one that ‘just happens’ to match your most fetching Renn Faire costume.
As you step through the Gate and back in Time, you walk tall, proud of all the Sparkly Goodness that adorns you. :>
twOOwls art – Patriotic Memories
Greetings!
Inspired by an intensely beloved piece I had as a child, alas, long lost to the mists of Time.
Layers upon layers, like the shifting sands of the world.
- The time: July, 2010.
- The challenge: ‘Freedom’.
- The results: above.
- Freedom to explore a new technique.
- Freedom to let things be what they want to be.
- Freedom to make lots and lots of spirally goodness! :>
- It’s big.
- It’s bold.
- It’s unafraid to be what it is.
- It’s adorning our beloved Birdy! :>
Chirp, chirp!

twOOwls art – Turquoise Sea
Greetings!
Turquoise toupee*? No, not in this case, tho’ it might be a fashion statement you’d consider.
In this case, it’s a turquoise glass pendant, the color of a sea-filled sky, with copper around it like the sun.
While this particular piece adorns our beloved Birdy, she would be more than happy to create a similar piece just for you.
Chirp, chirp!

*It’s from a song by Al Stewart. Feel free to look it up – it’s good stuff! :>
EVP Experiments – Early Success! :>
Breaking News!!!
Here at the CraftyCrows Mind Arts Lab; we have begun the very earliest stages in learning just what EVP’s (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) are. And can there be a practical use for them?
With the help of my Guides, and with my own personal experience with the phenomena of 3rd eye communication, we have come up with a couple of postulates as to what is going on with EVP’s.
-
Postulate 1: An EVP is recorded telepathic communication.
-
Postulate 2: The senders intent matters as to the record ability of the communication.
-
Postulate 3: The amount of energy the sender can put into the communication helps determine the success of the recording.
We have just begun, but on 5/12/11 I reheard a recording we did on 5/09/11 when I asked my Guide Monodon to leave an EVP as part of a recording for another purpose.
[powerpress]
At the 47 second mark after some noises, Monodon clearly says “hello!”
The recorder was part of the Nikon Coolpix L3 camera we have. The microphone is built in so you have a lot of internal noise.
But in this snippet, you hear me asking for the EVP, and the answer is unmistakable.
The Guides say there is a learning curve for them, so I expect them to get more understandable as time goes on.
Be on the lookout for more EVP’s from not only our Guides; but from our ghost and ET (Extra-Terrestrial) friends as well.
Much more later…
twOOwls art – Berkano
Greetings!
Goddess of the earth, reflected in amber and silk. Gaia, reflected in trees past and present, amber and leaf.
Earth & air, fire & water. Sun comes down to earth, captured by tree, formed into amber reflecting the Sun back again in Mystery.
Soul’s Fire comes down to Earth, is caught by Muse-ings, formed into Art reflecting the Soul back again in Mystery.
Beautiful how that works, n’est-ce pas?
Twice-crocheted silk forms sacred Knots to hold one’s Dreams until they can be Birthed into this world.
Sun’s Fire again, this time caught by caterpillar.
Everything, in the end, comes back to Sun and Soul. Sol and Sun.
Wondrous how that works.
Chirp, chirp!

Worldview and Mindset
Hello!!
First, let me refer you to our free (Yes!! Really!!!) audio product on Worldview and the other two posts I have written on the subject.
Go ahead – I’ll wait for you!
You back already? And you didn’t cheat did you? Now go back and do it!!
OK. To continue, this post is more about how me and Birdy use worldview and mindset in our everyday lives.
It is a fine line we walk.
Having a worldview that incorporates a Universe that is teeming with life, and the existence of a huge variety of mind skills; how do you maintain your skepticism, and not believe everything you see and hear?
I know, I know. People are going to read and hear what we put on our sites, and just assume we don’t.
But there is a large chasm between open mindedness and gullibility.
Assuming you didn’t click here totally by accident, I’m assuming you have at least some curiosity about this stuff. And I will give you an example from a part of the paranormal field most people are beginning to accept that has at least some basis for reality – ghosts.
If you’ve seen the TV shows, done searches on the internet – or maybe you’ve had your own experience (or experiences) with the concept of ghosts; that certainly implies that your worldview encompasses the idea of entities in spirit form.
Does that mean you are automatically going to believe every ghost story you hear?
Of course not! That would be silly.
Having a worldview that encompasses the idea of spirits, or anything else in the paranormal field does not automatically put me or you into the ‘I believe everything I hear category’.
It does mean, however, that you go into things (whatever it is…) with an open mind. And then you scrutinize the issues in a case by case basis.
You look for the facts. Analyze the story. Look for other explanations. (And not in an anything but this sense; sometimes the explanations are mundane. Honest – no kidding…)
For example – UFO’s. I believe there are ET’s out there. Some UFO reports are alien starships. But, as an amateur astronomer, I know most UFO reports are the Moon, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. Not to mention all the times Lenticular clouds have been called ‘flying saucers’. The vast majority are mis-identifications.
Having an expanded worldview gives me an even better reason to critically scrutinize what I see or hear.
Here at the CraftyCrows, we are trying to weed through the BS to get to the truth.
The mindset is, and always will be, to find the truth.
Believing in everything is just as problematic as believing in nothing.
They are both based on a preconceived notion – not facts!
So, its’ OK to expand your worldview. Just remember to have a mindset that you will critically analyze what you learn. Do not let anything deter you from your search for the truth.
Keep Searching…
